Many of the artists featured at Oz Art Gallery live in the Mid North Coast area of New South Wales – Grafton, Ballina, Woolgoolga, Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Urunga, Nambucca Heads, Macksville, Bellingen and Dorrigo. Their artworks include portraits, landscapes, Indigenous art, 3 dimensional artworks, photography, digital photography and calligraphy.
Artworks include Ted Proctor’s water colour paintings of Central Australian landscapes and charcoal drawings of nudes, Allan Phillips’s indigenous abstract dot paintings using acrylic paint on stretched canvas, Greg Bishop’s digital photography, Jacqui Henwood’s mix of acrylic, oil and collage on board and stretched canvas, as well as her limited edition screen prints, Solveigh Larson’s pastel and charcoal life sketches/drawings of Spanish dancers and Trevor Bailey’ photography of the flowers, landscapes of the Bellingen area. Norm Cummings with Australian and overseas scenes in oils on board are his specialties. Myra K with her expressionist style with acrylic and oil paintings of nature. Fred Pascoe has a variety of styles and mediums from carving to dot paintings shows us his digital prints and abstract dot art works.
